House Rules

Welcome to Blackwood Retreat! To ensure all guests have a wonderful experience, we kindly ask you to observe the following house rules:

Check-in & Check-out

  • Check-in time: 3:00 PM - 10:00 PM
  • Check-out time: Before 11:00 AM
  • Late check-in available by prior arrangement
  • Self check-in instructions will be provided 24 hours before arrival

Guest Capacity

  • Maximum occupancy: 10 guests
  • All guests must be registered at booking
  • Visitors are allowed during daytime hours (9 AM - 9 PM) with prior notice
  • No overnight visitors without prior approval

Quiet Hours

  • Please respect quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM
  • Outdoor gatherings should move indoors after 10:00 PM
  • Keep music at reasonable levels, especially in the evening

Hot Tub Usage

  • Hot tub hours: 8:00 AM - 11:00 PM
  • Shower before entering the hot tub
  • No glass containers near the hot tub area
  • Children must be supervised at all times
  • Cover the hot tub after use

Fire Pit & BBQ

  • Never leave fires unattended
  • Fully extinguish fires before retiring
  • Use only provided firewood
  • Clean BBQ grill after use
  • Dispose of ashes safely when completely cool

Parking

  • Private parking for up to 4 vehicles
  • Park only in designated areas
  • Do not block access roads

Nature & Wildlife

  • Do not feed wild animals
  • Keep all food secured indoors
  • Close doors and windows when leaving the property
  • Stay on marked trails when hiking
  • Respect the National Park boundaries and regulations

Smoking Policy

  • Smoking is not permitted inside the cabin
  • Designated outdoor smoking areas available
  • Please dispose of cigarette butts properly
  • €200 cleaning fee for smoking violations indoors

Pets

  • Pets allowed with prior approval (max 2 pets)
  • Additional pet fee: €30 per pet per stay
  • Pets must be house-trained and well-behaved
  • Clean up after your pets immediately
  • Pets not allowed on furniture or beds

Housekeeping

  • Weekly housekeeping included for stays of 7+ nights
  • Please maintain general cleanliness during your stay
  • Wash dishes and dispose of garbage regularly
  • Recycling bins provided - please separate waste

Damages & Security

  • Please report any damages or issues immediately
  • Security deposit: €500 (refunded within 7 days post-checkout)
  • Lock all doors and windows when leaving the property
  • Lost key replacement fee: €50

Energy Conservation

  • Turn off lights and heating/cooling when not in use
  • Keep doors and windows closed when heating/cooling is on
  • Use firewood responsibly

By booking Blackwood Retreat, you agree to comply with these house rules. Failure to follow these rules may result in immediate termination of your stay without refund.
